Meet our ska england squad seniors

Sensei Katie, 4th Dan

Katie has competed for England for 18 years and has won many titles over the years, most notably, 2004 Junior World Kumite Champion, 2015 European Ladies Kata Champion and 2016 Ladies World Kata Champion. Katie, as well as competing, is the SKA England Coach. 

Luke Carpenter, 1st Dan

Luke has trained for over 10 years and competed for England for five. He is a valuable member of the team and a great role model for younger students.

Joseph Scamp, 1st Dan

Joe has competed on the England Squad for four years. He has had much success as an individual at National level. Notably, he was part of the winning boys Team Kata at the World Championships 2018. 

Finley Lodge, 1st Dan

Finley has competed for England for four years. He has won the title of European Kumite Champion 2017 and World Kata Team Champion 2018. He was placed 2nd at Wayne Otto's Ultimate Karate Fighters Bootcamp, Randori Event 2018. 

David Pereira, 1st Dan

David has competed for England for the last four years and has had much success. As an individual, David won the European Championships Individual Kumite title and has also won a Team Kata World title.  David was placed 3rd at Wayne Otto's Ultimate Karate Fighters Bootcamp, Randori Event 2018.  

Eloise Moliner, 1st Dan

Eloise has competed for England for three years, most notably she came second in the Kumite European Championships 2017 and first in the Team Kata. 

Debra Scamp, 1st Dan

Debra has competed for England for three years. She has shown talent Nationally and Internationally winning a bronze medal in the Individual Kumite and Team Kata events at the European Championships 2017.

Joe Wood, 2nd Kyu

Joe joined SKA from a different style in 2016. He has made his way onto the England squad and shown great talent. Joe has won National titles as well as being recognised as an emerging talent.

William Howell, 1st Dan

William has competed for England for two years, and most notably he has won the Team Kata World Champion title and came second in Individual Kata in the 2018 World Championships. Will sets his sights on the Olympics! 

Kacper Krzykowski, 1st Dan

Kacper has competed for England for three years and has shown great talent and determination. Most notably Kasper was part of the World Champion winning Team Kata 2018. Kacper also holds the title of European bronze medallist in the Team Kata.
